Required

Currently enrolled in or graduated from a degree program in Environmental Science, Ecology, Natural Resources, Forestry, or a related field
Interest in ecological restoration, land management, and public park operations
Valid driver's license required
Obtain Illinois Pesticide Operator Certification within the first two weeks of the internship (testing provided by the Park District)
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are required to be successful throughout the internship
Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs
