Responsibilities

Develop lithography processes for superconducting qubits using direct-write maskless and conventional masked based lithography
Leverage process integration skills based on experience in device fabrication of superconducting qubits, MEMS and or semiconductor solid state devices
Work closely with the photolithography team to develop new processes for superconducting qubits. Improve and sustain existing processes, implementing proper controls
Collaborate closely with researchers, scientists and engineer leading complex projects
Analyze and interpret complex scientific data, providing critical insights and recommendations based on experiments devised to improve superconducting device room temperature and cryogenic performance
Mentor and train other staff members in lithography, etch, thin films deposition and other fabrication techniques
Working with various external vendors and internal hardware equipment engineers to resolve tool issues

Required

Bachelor's degree or above in engineering, physics, or equivalent
Hands-on cleanroom experience in using maskless direct laser writing photolithography, spin coating tracks, thin film deposition, wet and dry etch and other nanofabrication processes

Preferred

Experience with written and verbal communication and presentation
MS or PhD in Physics, Applied Physics, Material Science, Electrical Engineering or related field
Working knowledge of CAD software with the ability to create scripts using programming languages such as Python
