Responsibilities
Install, configure and maintain IT infrastructure for MSP clients including firewalls, switches, and wireless access points
Network and Firewall administration supporting implementation of security policies and remediating conflicts
Coordination with system and application owners, schedule and apply rule changes, test and validate
Ensure system availability and reliability
Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
Working with third-party providers to keep the networks running efficiently
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience in Routing and Network Engineering
Knowledge of infrastructure equipment and design to include firewalls, switches, Wireless Access Points and other networking technologies
Ability to work well both individually and in a team
Proven hands-on experience
Excellent communication skills
Preferred
WatchGuard and/or Ubiquiti product line experience a plus
Networking certifications such as WatchGuard, Cisco, Ubiquiti or CompTIA Network+ a plus
