Chief of Staff
Maryland Oncology Hematology is seeking a Chief of Staff who will serve as an operational partner to the CEO, ensuring alignment across executive priorities and driving the execution of key initiatives. This role will facilitate enterprise-wide initiatives and improve cross-functional collaboration to elevate organizational performance.

Responsibilities
Partner closely with the CEO to translate strategic priorities into actionable plans and measurable outcomes
Manage CEO priorities, ensuring focus on the highest-impact initiatives
Prepare executive briefs, presentations, talking points, and decision memos
Act as a thought partner on organizational strategy, growth, and transformation initiatives
Facilitate enterprise-wide initiatives (e.g., growth strategy, integrations, operational excellence, cultural initiatives)
Ensure accountability and follow-through across executive and senior leadership teams
Facilitate executive leadership meetings, offsites, and strategic planning sessions
Own agendas, materials, decision tracking, and action-item follow-up
Serve as a trusted intermediary between the CEO and executive leadership team when appropriate
Break down silos by improving communication and coordination across departments
Ensure consistent messaging and alignment with organizational priorities
Partner with leaders in Operations, HR, Finance Legal, IT, and Clinical/Medical leadership as applicable
Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve decision-making, and increase organizational effectiveness
Support change management efforts tied to growth, integration, or transformation
Support internal communications tied to strategy, change, and performance
Represent the CEO and organization with professionalism, discretion, and credibility
Streamline workflows between CEO’s office and the broader organization
Anticipate needs and resolve bottlenecks before they reach the CEO
Balance detail-oriented administrative tasks with strategic oversight
Manage CEO’s calendar, travel, and meeting logistics with precision
Screen and prioritize incoming requests, ensuring CEO’s time is focused on high-value activities
Draft correspondence, presentations, and internal/external communications
Coordinate board materials, agendas, and follow-ups
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
8–12+ years of progressive experience in strategy, operations, consulting, healthcare administration, or executive leadership support
Strong project management and organizational skills
Strategic thinker with strong execution discipline
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
High emotional intelligence and sound judgment
Ability to manage ambiguity and competing priorities
Trusted advisor mindset with absolute discretion and confidentiality
Preferred
Master's degree (MBA, MHA, MPH, or similar) preferred
Prior Experience Working Directly With C-suite Executives Strongly Preferred
Experience in healthcare, physician practice management, multi-site operations, or professional services a plus
