Responsibilities
Monitoring HQ network stability/performance, diagnosing and resolving network issues
Managing relationships with our upstream network service provider
Administering & managing all network equipment (firewalls, switches, APs, routers, etc)
Developing and maintaining network design/configuration
Supporting DNC activities outside of the HQ as required
Training the IT help desk to better support network related issues
Implementing network disaster recovery and redundancy planning
Consulting and assisting with consolidated campaign and convention network needs
Designing and implementing project BlueFrame, which will involve multiple locations
Qualification
Required
3+ years experience with IT networking
Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
Experience pulling, parsing, and aggregating logs from devices and enterprise systems
Strong knowledge of route/switch and basic networking principles
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
Prior experience as Help Desk Associate or Help Desk Technician
Prior experience with either of the following: Cisco, Palo Alto, Juniper, Aruba, or Fortinet
Travel: The Network Administrator position will require travel, which could be up to 15% of the time
