Maintenance Supervisor
Highlands Vista Group is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance operations of their property. The role involves supervising maintenance staff, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring the safety and quality of the community's facilities.

Responsibilities
Supervise at least one Maintenance Technician, delegating tasks and providing training
Complete and oversee service requests, ensuring safety standards are met
Manage the "make-ready" process for vacant units, including inspections and vendor coordination
Maintain cleanliness and appearance of grounds, amenities, and common areas
Inspect contractor and vendor work to ensure quality standards
Track and maintain inventory of parts and supplies within budget
Respond promptly to resident inquiries and maintenance requests
Support cost-saving initiatives by repairing rather than replacing items when possible
Conduct routine property inspections and preventative maintenance
Assist with snow removal and seasonal upkeep
Provide updates on maintenance activities and budget adherence
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies
Perform all other duties as needed
Qualification
Required
HVAC experience required
EPA Universal certification required
High school diploma or equivalent
5+ years' experience in the maintenance field
Experience managing/supervising 2+ employees
Experience managing maintenance in up to 300+ units
Drywall, painting, and carpentry experience
Working knowledge of plumbing
Working knowledge of electrical including outlets, switches and light fixtures
Working knowledge of appliances to include washers and dryers
Preferred
CPO certification a plus
2+ years' experience within the multi-family housing industry preferred
