Administrative Support Associate
Delta Dental of New Jersey and Connecticut is seeking an Administrative Support Associate to provide comprehensive administrative support across various operations. The role involves organizing tasks, handling incoming work, and ensuring the timely completion of essential functions and responsibilities.

Responsibilities
Handle incoming work within established time frames, e.g. additional information calls within 2 business days
Finalize check researches within 2 business days, file fee updates within 5 days of receipt
Meet or exceed production standards for all job functions
Research fax number information on additional information letters, including calls to dentists
Maintain and resolve check researches for Customer Service department by completing appropriate forms and memos and delivering completed work to the Accounting Department and/or re-mailing. Indexes checks once scanned into our Checks Cabinet and confirms all have been received once overnighted from DDAR
Coordinate with Accounting Department on financial information regarding checks
Researches and prepares information for Corporate Review audits
Processes provider fees online
Retrieves and indexes via our Document Management System all incoming facsimile information. Opens, stamps, sorts and drags and drops all incoming mail/routed claims for the Customer Service department into our Document Management System
Indexes all documents in our Customer Service cabinet to ensure proper routing for the Customer Service Department
Responsible for daily delivery of reports, photocopies and distributes any listings, memos, correspondence, etc. as requested by other departments
Handles incoming and outgoing Flagship mail received at our street address, electronically or in the Flagship Cabinet, printing, preparing documents for scanning and maintaining counts
Handles post office returns (EOB’s and Fast Forward reports)
Assists the supervisor when necessary
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
One year clerical/administrative experience, preferably in an insurance environment
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
Possess good organizational skills
Must have good research and analytical skills
Ability to meet KPI's: Filed Fees 429/hour, Encounter Claim Forms 50/hour, Fast forwards (address changes) 60/hour, Additionals 11/hour
Possess the ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel
Good written and oral communication skills
Ability to research and troubleshoot problems
Demonstrate good proofreading skills
Attention to detail
Ability to sit and perform extensive close keyboard and PC work
Ability to walk, talk, or hear
Occasionally required to stand and reach with hands and arms
Ability to meet deadlines and attendance standards
This classification will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement
