Responsibilities
Write, test and deploy code using Amazon and AWS tools
Perform technical analysis, design, development, implementation of applications
Participate in the planning and analysis of requirements for system enhancements, translating requirements into well-architecture solutions
Troubleshoot and fix defects for planned releases and production issues
Work with a cross-functional Scrum team and product manager to maintain and enhance products and services
Participate in on-call rotation
Qualification
Required
3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
2+ years of programming using a modern programming language such as Java, C++, or C#, including object-oriented design experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Preferred
Master's degree in computer science or equivalent
Experience scripting languages and coding skills for one (1) or more of the following: Ruby, C/C++/C#, Node.JS, Java, Python, and PHP
Experience with AWS Services including EC2, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, SQS
Experience with jQuery, Node.js, and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Redux, Ractive, Ember, or Angular, along with the knowledge of when to use them
AWS certification, such as, AWS Solutions Architect, or a similar cloud certification
1+ years of agile software development methodology experience
