Assessor - Administrative Technician I-III
Park County Government is seeking an Assessor - Administrative Technician I-III to promote and maintain continuity within the Assessor's Office while providing high levels of customer service. The role involves processing documents, assisting the public, and conducting research related to land, title, and ownership.
Government Administration
Responsibilities
Assist the public at the counter, on the telephone and via e-mails promptly
Process daily transfers from a recording search of ownership and titles
Continue to maintain subdivision and metes and bounds official records
Process maps for metes and bounds properties
Assist both public and appraisers in the process of appeals during appeal periods
Create mailing labels, sales reports, subdivision reports and other reports as requested by customers and the Administrative Supervisor
Assist in the process of Personal Property
Run reports and gather data for the Assessor's Office, Park County departments, and other State and Federal governmental agencies
Research issues with land, title and ownership
Handle special projects and tasks as needed by the Administrative Supervisor
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma
Minimum of one-year experience in a Colorado Assessor's Office or in a related field including the real estate or construction industry preferred
Must pass background check
Required classes must be successfully completed within one year
Valid Colorado driver's license
