Senior Project Manager
Expedite Talent Solutions is seeking a Senior Project Manager to oversee the initial analysis of mutual aid tracking and reimbursement processes within the Oregon State Fire Marshal Emergency Response Services Division. The Project Manager will guide the project through analysis and design phases, ensuring effective communication, risk management, and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities
Develop a detailed project plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation to ensure the project stays on track
Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and monitor risks throughout the project lifecycle
Establish and maintain effective communication channels among all stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment
Provide regular status updates and progress reports to key stakeholders and management teams
Monitor project expenses, track budget variances, and ensure the project remains within the allocated budget
Facilitate change management processes, including the assessment and approval of change requests
Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations
Conduct interviews with key stakeholders to understand pain points, requirements, and desired improvements
Leading the project team and coordinating with stakeholders
Managing the project timeline and ensuring milestones are met
Documenting and communicating progress to the OSFM MARS project leadership
Ensuring the quality and completeness of all deliverables
Qualification
Required
Project Management Expertise: Extensive experience in managing complex projects, preferably within the emergency response or public sector
Stakeholder Coordination: Proven ability to coordinate effectively with various stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment of project goals
Process Analysis and Workflow Mapping: Strong skills in process analysis and workflow mapping to identify areas of improvement and streamline operations
Gap Analysis: Experience in performing gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current and desired performance levels
Recommendation Development: Ability to develop actionable recommendations based on thorough analysis and stakeholder input
Documentation and Reporting: Proficiency in documenting project progress and creating comprehensive reports for leadership review
Quality Assurance: A keen eye for detail to ensure the quality and completeness of all deliverables
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership capabilities to guide the project team and inspire confidence among stakeholders
