In this role, you will own the Online Shopping Experience for Amazon Devices, designing interfaces across platforms and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance customer engagement and satisfaction.

Responsibilities
Collaborate and work cross-functionally with design, research, product, and engineering teams from design concept to design solution, setting UX guidelines, creating assets, and aiding in bug fixes to ensure bar-raising quality all the way to market
Create the vision for developing, communicating, and implementing the user experience and follow through with the processes and tactics to fulfill the vision
Oversee close coordination with product managers to develop a shared vision and lead the process to define the experience and design to deliver on the product’s objectives
Use data (metric tests, usability studies, usage data) to identify opportunities and inform decisions
Force multiply design output and impact using the latest agentic AI workflows
Create AI-ready pattern libraries, templates, and tools for a variety of users on our platform
Identify and utilize common patterns for mobile, desktop, and e-commerce platforms
Consider the internal tooling required to support front-end customer experiences
Inspire, mentor, and lead a variety of designers on the User Experience team
Work strategically with executives and team members across the organization
Develop and nurture relationships across the team, Amazon, and disciplines to promote collaboration and efficiency on Amazon projects
Qualification
Required
6+ years of design experience
Have an available online portfolio
Experience with design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and prototyping in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Ajax
Preferred
Experience applying scrum to visual or UX design processes
Experience with UX design of complex workflows
