Responsibilities
Perform regular maintenance and safety inspections on elevator systems
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
Install new elevator systems in residential and commercial buildings
Respond to emergency service calls and conduct after-hours repairs as needed
Maintain detailed service records and reports
Provide excellent customer service, addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction
Stay updated on industry standards and advancements in elevator technology
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical problems
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
Collaborate with team members and provide training to junior technicians
Conduct routine testing to ensure optimal performance and reliability of elevator systems
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality and efficiency
Qualification
Required
Strong background in electrical or mechanical work
Willingness to obtain elevator-specific certifications (training provided)
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Flexibility to handle on-call or after-hours work as needed
Familiarity with electrical circuits, schematics, and blueprints
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
Physical ability to perform tasks involving lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Commitment to adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a safe work environment
Preferred
Prior experience with elevator systems is preferred but not required
