Manager, Leave & Immigration Compliance - Hybrid

Responsibilities
Ensures organizational adherence to FMLA, ADA, state-specific leave laws, disability programs, and U.S. immigration regulations. Maintains a proactive approach to compliance through monitoring, audits, and alignment with guidelines
Serves as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, offering guidance on complex leave cases, accommodations, and immigration-related matters
Directly manages and develops team members, fostering accountability, engagement, and continuous learning. Provides coaching, performance management, and succession planning to build a high-performing team
Works closely with internal and external legal counsel to resolve complex cases and ensure the organization’s position is legally sound. Stays current on changes to federal, state, and local leave, disability, and immigration laws, updating policies and practices as needed
Builds strong relationships across HR, business units, and compliance partners to ensure a coordinated and consistent approach to leave administration and immigration support
Designs and delivers training programs and resources for HR, managers, and employees to build awareness and understanding of LOA, disability, and immigration processes. Ensures communications are clear, accessible, and aligned with policy and regulatory requirements
Monitors workload distribution and resource utilization to ensure timely service delivery, while implementing cost-effective practices that optimize team efficiency and reduce administrative expenses
Collaborates with business leaders to integrate LOA, disability, and immigration compliance into workforce planning, helping departments anticipate risks, address unique challenges, and leverage opportunities to enhance organizational effectiveness
Employs data analytics and HR technologies to monitor workload trends, forecast future demands, and allocate resources effectively. Translates insights into actionable strategies that enhance compliance, improve employee experience, and support cost management across leave, disability, and immigration programs
Drives sustainable service delivery by balancing efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and budget stewardship, ensuring resources are optimized to create long-term organizational value
Manages vendor relationships for leave and disability programs, including contracts, performance monitoring, and issue resolution to guarantee adherence, service quality, and alignment with organizational standards
Qualification
Required
Seven (7) plus years of experience in Leave & Disability Management
Five (5) plus years of leadership experience, directly managing a team
Doctorate degree of Law (JD) or equivalent required
Preferred
US Immigration Experience Highly Preferred
