Technical Sales Specialist, Flow Cytometry Reagents
Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is the world leader in serving science, and they are seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to drive sales and provide support for their Flow Cytometry Reagent products. Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with the Bioscience Division's goals, focusing on flow cytometry reagents
Identify and evaluate new business opportunities to promote our products to academic, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical customers
Build and maintain strong client relationships across various functions and levels within client accounts
Achieve or exceed sales quotas and objectives, ensuring profitability and 100% customer satisfaction
Collaborate with Marketing, Technical, and Customer Support teams
Conduct technical seminars related to the product portfolio
Understand assigned products and applications, as well as competitor products' features and benefits
Contribute to the North America commercial team by sharing leads, developing opportunities, and improving account penetration
Train and support commercial representatives to maintain and grow key accounts
Manage sales processes, including forecasting, pipeline management, and sales tracking using CRM and other IT tools
Attend and support local trade shows and conferences
Travel requirements of 50% within assigned territory
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Biology, Immunology, or a related field
5 plus years of related work experience
Hands-on experience in a research laboratory setting using flow cytometry is required
Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and implement in advance
Team-oriented with effective communication and presentation skills
Strong drive to achieve and exceed sales targets
Skilled at developing and maintaining long-term relationships with clients and stakeholders
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey product benefits and technical information clearly
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and pay attention to details
Efficient time management to meet deadlines and sales quotas, ensuring optimal productivity
