Sr. Sales Manager - Japanese Bilingual
Pasona N A, Inc. is a Japan-based global manufacturer specializing in proprietary advanced material technologies. They are seeking a motivated Sr. Sales Manager/New Business Development to develop new business and expand sales of proprietary functional material solutions in the North American market.

Responsibilities
Establish and develop new accounts, including regional sales representatives, distributors, and direct customers
Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities in target markets and industries to achieve aggressive sales goals
Manage and grow customer relationships through regular communication and follow-up
Maintain accurate records of customer information, sales activities, contact reports, and correspondence in the designated CRM/database
Actively participate in assigned projects, working groups, and internal initiatives
Attend meetings as directed by management
Provide weekly and monthly sales reports to keep management informed of activities and progress
Perform all duties under the direction of the President and/or overseas headquarters
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
5–10 years of experience in sales, account management, or program management within manufacturing, materials, or engineering-related industries
Experience developing new business and opening new accounts (hunter mindset)
Valid U.S. driver's license
Japanese conversational skills are required (ability to communicate with Japanese-speaking stakeholders)
Strong ability to develop and execute strategic business engagement plans
Ability to understand, translate, and communicate technical requirements and customer needs
Self-starter with a proactive, results-driven, and prospecting mindset
Strong relationship-building and teamwork skills
Program and account management capabilities
Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability and willingness to quickly learn proprietary materials, products, and technologies
Preferred
Experience selling to or working with OEM industry: semiconductor, electronics, industrial equipment, or manufacturing companies is highly preferred
