Responsibilities
Design core platform primitives that scale across Rippling and power multiple products
Turn abstract, complex systems into clear, usable experiences for customers and internal teams
Partner closely with Product and Engineering to design scalable, extensible frameworks that balance flexibility with usability
Ensure shared surfaces (navigation, home, global patterns) feel cohesive, intuitive, and polished
Anticipate and design for edge cases in data flows, permissions, governance, and integrations
Deliver high fidelity designs and interaction prototypes that clarify decisions and elevate the customer experience
Champion clarity, craft, and customer impact across platform initiatives
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience as a Product Designer, with a combination of high caliber big tech and growth stage startup experience
Staff level designer with a proven track record of shipping products end to end, from concept through iteration to delivery
B2B SaaS or web based portfolio demonstrating complex, high impact systems or platform work
Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions cross functionally and at all levels of the organization
Preferred
Graduated from a major design program (for example SCAD, RISD, or equivalent)
