The role involves overseeing Data Centre connectivity activities, providing technical oversight, and ensuring installations align with design specifications and industry standards.

Responsibilities
Oversee and support Data Centre connectivity activities (copper & fibre)
Act as on-site technical presence during installation and termination works
Support commissioning activities across all project phases up to Owner Turnover (L5)
Provide technical oversight of Inside Plant (ISP) and Outside Plant (OSP)cabling
Ensure installations align with design drawings, specifications, and industry standards
Ensure works are carried out safely, to specification, and in line with quality requirements
Witness fibre and copper testing activities
Review, validate, and approve test results and reports
Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and site inspections as required
Qualification
Required
Proven experience delivering Data Centre connectivity projects
Strong understanding of ISP / OSP cabling systems
Experience overseeing contractors performing terminations and testing
Background in commissioning and/or QA/QC
Experience witnessing tests and validating results
Ability to adapt across different delivery phases as project needs evolve
Preferred
BICSI certification – strongly preferred
