Responsibilities
Design and develop data models and ETL pipelines to support data integration and warehousing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement data solutions
Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment on data engineering strategies
Maintain and optimize existing data infrastructures, ensuring scalability and reliability
Implement best practices for software development, including code reviews and testing protocols
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong understanding of data modeling and warehousing
Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as Python, Java, or Scala
Experience with distributed systems and data storage solutions
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical teams
Preferred
Familiarity with Big Data technologies such as EMR, EC2, Glue, or Lambda
Experience with relational databases and ElasticSearch
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices, including CI/CD and operational excellence
