Boston Children's Hospital (BCH) is seeking an Executive Director for Business Development focused on the Latin America Region. This role involves developing strategic relationships and driving revenue growth by promoting BCH services and implementing business strategies in the region.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with hospital leaders, physicians, opinion leaders, global insurers, and TPAs to generate leads, referrals, and patient volume. Develop and implement sales plans as needed

Partner with leadership to execute market-specific business strategies aligned with BCH’s global strategy, maintaining a robust short- and long-term pipeline from early lead to deal closure

Identify opportunities and develop proposals for hospitals interested in BCH consulting, educational services, or new ventures

Identify opportunities for CME programs, networking events, and conferences to connect BCH physicians with referring physicians in the region

Analyze market opportunities and provide strategic recommendations to leadership; participate in team meetings, special projects, and BCH initiatives

Host and support visiting foreign opinion leaders and executives as requested

Perform other duties as assigned

Required

Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field

10+ years of progressive experience in international business development, including 5+ years in healthcare business development in the Latin American market

Proven success in business development, partnership management, or sales in healthcare, academic, or consulting sectors

Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior healthcare executives, opinion leaders, and institutional partners

Fluency in Spanish (written and spoken) required

Strong project management skills with a track record of executing complex initiatives

Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills; proven ability to deliver superior customer engagement

Deep understanding of multicultural business environments and hospital administration in Latin America

Strategic thinker and proactive leader capable of working independently and collaboratively within a global team

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
