Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of electrical power and data architectures for complex defense systems
Own electrical engineering efforts from concept development through prototype fabrication and test readiness
Translate operational and functional requirements into executable technical designs
Conduct trade studies to evaluate solution space, risks, cost, and performance
Develop and mature solutions until they are production-ready and testable
Support limited customer interaction and requirements clarification
Mentor and collaborate with engineers across multiple disciplines
Operate effectively in ambiguous, high-risk, high-reward environments
Adapt quickly to shifting priorities and evolving customer needs
Participate in occasional after-hours or weekend meetings with senior engineering leadership
Qualification
Required
Deep technical expertise in electrical engineering
Strong leadership capability
Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-uncertainty environments
Experience in designing and developing electrical power and data architectures for complex defense systems
Ability to own electrical engineering efforts from concept development through prototype fabrication and test readiness
Skill in translating operational and functional requirements into executable technical designs
Experience conducting trade studies to evaluate solution space, risks, cost, and performance
Ability to develop and mature solutions until they are production-ready and testable
Experience supporting limited customer interaction and requirements clarification
