Responsibilities

Install, pull, and route cabling through conduits, trays, risers, and other pathways
Terminate Cat5/Cat6 copper and fiber optic connections using industry‑standard methods
Perform cable testing, certification, labeling, and documentation
Assist with fiber splicing, OSP/ISP pathways, and additional structured cabling tasks as needed
Follow TIA/EIA, BICSI, and site‑specific standards to ensure quality and compliance
Maintain fire-stop compliance and adhere to all safety protocols on active construction sites
Support installation of devices such as wireless access points and low-voltage hardware

Required

Ability to work independently and within team environments on active construction job sites
Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and cable testing equipment
Basic understanding of low-voltage systems, structured cabling, and electrical safety
Strong attention to detail for labeling, documentation, and high-quality terminations
Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally to various project locations
Professional communication skills and ability to interact with clients, site supervisors, and team members
Willingness to learn advanced cabling and fiber techniques and continue developing within the telecom industry
