Developing and executing architecture and interior designs
Contributing to project management tasks
Communication with clients and team members
Coordinating project integration
Managing production of deliverables in a timely manner
Collaborating with and managing junior designers and interns
Ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards
Detail oriented and able to work independently on multiple projects at different design phases
Sourcing products and materials including plumbing fixtures, lighting fixtures, tile and stone
Experience in construction documents and millwork detailing
Experience with NYC code compliance, filing and Building Management approval
Qualification
Required
Bachelors or Masters of Architecture degree
Three to five years of office experience
Detail oriented and able to work independently on multiple projects at different design phases
Manage production of deliverables in a timely manner
Ability to collaborate with and manage junior designers and interns
Experience in construction documents, and millwork detailing
Ability to source products and materials including: plumbing fixtures, lighting fixtures, tile and stone
Experience with NYC code compliance, filing and Building Management approval
Excellent AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite skills
Preferred
Professional licensure or progress toward licensure is preferred
