Responsibilities

Categorize bank, credit card, loan, payroll, sales tax, accounts payable and receivable transactions as needed
Review offshore bookkeeping entries and reclassify transactions as needed
Perform month-end close, including reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts
Prepare and deliver timely and accurate financial statements to clients
Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Communicate effectively with clients and executives to explain financial results and provide guidance
Support integration of payroll and expense management platforms (e.g., ADP, Gusto, Paychex, DEXT) with client accounts
Assist with tax planning and preparation as needed
Maintain organized records and documentation to support internal controls and audits

Required

Experience in public accounting or corporate accounting environment
Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control practices
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, Drive)
Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, and QuickBooks Enterprise, and XERO
Familiarity with payroll, HR, and expense software (ADP, Gusto, Paychex, DEXT, and others)
Ability to analyze financial statements, identify issues, and recommend improvements
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and executives
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple client deadlines

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred but not required
