The primary responsibilities include entering sales orders, verifying insurance information, and providing exceptional customer service while educating patients on medical equipment usage.

Responsibilities
Enter sales orders accurately into the system
Verify insurance information and ensure proper documentation for billing
Review prescriptions and supporting chart notes to confirm compliance for billing purposes
Follow up with physicians to obtain missing documentation
Provide direct client interaction and exceptional customer service
Handle OTC sales of soft goods and accessories
Dispense medical equipment and soft goods billed to insurance (e.g., walkers, bath safety items, mobility aids, orthopedic supports)
Educate patients on proper use of all dispensed items
Unpack shipments (including palletized deliveries); must be able to lift up to 35 lbs
Perform basic assembly of equipment
Enter patient demographic data accurately
Participate in on-call rotation
Qualification
Required
