Responsibilities
Manage a team of engineers and technicians to establish and maintain statistical process control systems
Establish and improve process capabilities
Develop and maintain process documentation
Manage development projects that are designed to meet customer product specifications, delivery, and cost expectations
Work with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured
Improve throughput in constrained areas
Develop, test, and implement new materials and processes for improved performance and/or lower cost and manage cost reduction efforts in assigned process areas
Partner with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured
Coordinate initiatives to increase throughput, reduce cost and improve performance in constrained areas
Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience and training
Demonstrates mastery of functional knowledge in relation to other functions and a complete understanding of the function and those of related businesses
Preferred
A Master's or MBA degree is preferred
