The Senior Data Pipeline Engineer will architect and manage complex data flows from various ERP systems into the Microsoft Fabric environment, ensuring data quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities
Architect & Build: Design, deploy, and own robust data pipelines from client source systems (ERPs, CRMs, WMS) into our Microsoft Fabric platform
Master ERP Data: Become the expert at navigating and extracting data from diverse ERP data schemas (both on-prem and cloud), quickly identifying the critical tables needed for operational and financial analysis
Optimize Everything: Obsessively tune all data flows for efficiency, focusing on throughput, storage, and compute costs
Own Data Quality: Implement and manage automated checks and validation processes to ensure data integrity from source to cube
Collaborate & Model: Work closely with our data modeling team to ensure your pipelines feed seamlessly into Power BI semantic models
Innovate & Document: Proactively use new tools (including AI) to accelerate troubleshooting and development, and create clear documentation for all your builds
Qualification
Required
5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience, with a proven track record of building and managing complex ELT/ETL pipelines
Expert-level proficiency in the modern Microsoft data stack, especially Microsoft Fabric, Data Factory, and Power BI (understanding its inner workings, not just dashboarding)
Demonstrable experience interfacing with and extracting data from at least one major ERP system (e.g., Acumatica, SAP, NetSuite, MS Dynamics, Oracle, etc.). Experience with multiple is a major plus. Experience with OData feeds or API throttling limits is a massive plus
You are an expert in SQL, capable of writing highly optimized and complex queries for data transformation and analysis
You are a versatile, autonomous problem-solver who can tackle unfamiliar systems, troubleshoot errors independently, and take full ownership of your work from start to finish
Ability to work from our Times Square office (3+ days/week)
