Responsibilities

Manage multiple, simultaneous data center design projects from detailed design through construction administration and finally closeout and handover to operations
Gather internal requirements, generating potential options, presenting to the leadership team, and delivering design solutions that satisfy customers' needs
Create and manage strategies for the execution of designs that leverage a standard baseline plan of record. Responsible for managing strategy for projects that require deviation from the baseline design
Overcome critical tests while maintaining adherence to project timelines, quality and costs, and managing a cross-functional set of stakeholders

Required

Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
5 years of experience in program management
Experience managing multi-group, multi-disciplinary construction projects and designs

Preferred

PE License, RA License, Chartered Engineer License or equivalent technical professional license or certification
Master's degree or PhD in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related technical fields
5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects
Experience managing data center design and product development
Experience managing vendor relationships and design-to-construction workflows, including procurement strategy, work package development, and cross-functional coordination
Experience with data center specific or equivalent equipment/environments, including switchgear, generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, building controls, security monitoring systems, fire safety systems and an understanding of start up/commissioning processes
