$20/hr - $21/hrTEKsystems is seeking an entry-level Level 1 Technician to support cabling and infrastructure work inside a data center environment. The role involves assisting with basic data center infrastructure tasks and requires strong teamwork and the ability to follow direction in a fast-paced environment.
Information Technology
Responsibilities
Pull, route, and organize low‑voltage cabling within a data center
Stack, mount, and drill racks and cabinets
Label cables, ports, and equipment accurately
Assist lead technicians with basic installation and cleanup
Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Follow all site safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
Arrive on time and demonstrate reliable attendance
Qualification
Required
Experience working in physically demanding environments (construction, labor, warehouse, etc.)
Familiarity with hand and power tools
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Basic understanding of electrical or cabling concepts is helpful but not required
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Preferred
Telecom experience is a plus, but not required
