Responsibilities
Build and parameterize cell, thermal, and sensor models
Generate usage profiles for different battery applications
Research and implement battery state-estimation algorithms
Evaluate the compute resource needed for the simulation environment
Perform diminishing-returns analysis
Qualification
Required
Strong background in lithium-ion battery modelling and management
Skilled at programming and enjoy solving problems and learning from data
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively and independently
Knowledge of lithium-ion modelling fundamentals and state-estimation algorithms
Strong mathematical and analytical background
Skilled programmer in MATLAB/Simulink, Python, and/or in C/C++
Highly organized and able to solve problems with care and structure
