Mid LevelAscot Supply Corporation is seeking an experienced Web Developer to redesign and modernize their website. The role involves improving user experience, enhancing visual appeal, and managing a large product catalog while collaborating with the internal design team.

Responsibilities
Redesign, rebuild and maintain our website
Collaborate closely with our internal design team to translate design concepts, wireframes, and brand guidelines into a functional website
Upload and organize 1,000+ products, including categories, images, and descriptions
Implement advanced search functionality and filters for easy product discovery
Add smooth scroll animations and interactive elements where appropriate
Ensure the site is responsive and optimized for mobile, tablet, and desktop
Optimize website performance, load times, and overall usability
Implement SEO best practices (on-page SEO, clean URLs, metadata, etc.)
Integrate plugins and tools as needed while maintaining site security and stability
Perform testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing improvements
Qualification
Required
Proven experience building and redesigning websites
Strong ability to collaborate with designers and cross-functional teams
Knowledge of WordPress themes, plugins, and page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery, Gutenberg)
Experience managing large product catalogs (1,000+ products)
Familiarity with SEO principles and website optimization
Understanding of UX/UI best practices
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to meet deadlines and manage projects independently
Preferred
Experience with WooCommerce or other WordPress eCommerce solutions
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript
Knowledge of scroll animations, motion effects, and transitions
Experience with performance optimization tools (caching, image optimization, CDNs)
Experience working alongside in-house creative or marketing teams
Portfolio showcasing past WordPress projects
