Responsibilities
Act as a Power Systems Engineer focused on BESS and energy storage
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
3 years of experience in mission critical facility design and construction environments
3 years of experience with power systems controls, SCADA controls, protection systems, generator controls, and other power system technologies
3 years of experience developing power system protection and control schemes and performing system analysis for protection/transient studies
Preferred
Master's degree in Engineering, Business or other relevant field or a Professional Engineering (PE) license
Experienced with generator governors and exciters, generator synchronization and transfer controls, inverter controls for BESS, PV and Fuel Cell applications
Familiarity with HIL testing using RTDS, OPAL-RT and other commercially viable closed loop testing methods
