Responsibilities

Analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement
Design and implement efficient production workflows to maximize productivity
Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize resource utilization
Create and maintain accurate documentation of processes, procedures, and standards
Conduct time studies, work sampling, and process flow analysis
Identify opportunities for automation or technological advancements in manufacturing
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
Provide training and guidance to production personnel on best practices
Analyze data to identify trends and recommend action plans for process optimization
Maintain a strong focus on quality control throughout the manufacturing process
Identify and implement process improvements in order to reduce cost or mitigate risks to the product or people
Regularly incorporate feedback from the Production team
Design methods to ensure product quality and standardization
Manage project deliverables related to own work package, remaining strong communication with central functions as well as local, and strong tie-in with customers
Ensure project execution On-Time/On-Quality/On-Cost
Assist in financial planning, cost analysis and estimate production costs
Other duties as assigned

Required

A Bachelor's Degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering or a relevant field
0-3 years of experience in manufacturing or assembly environment
Knowledge of basic Production and Quality rules in aviation
Solid experience in Project Management
Ability to moderate technical decisions based on solution analysis and risk evaluation
Strong communication skills
Advanced knowledge in Office tools
Experience in working in an intercultural environment
High degree of flexibility and initiative. Experience in lean manufacturing
Experience in consulting, change management or equivalent experience
Experience with SQL or computer coding is a plus
Possess the motivation to learn
Knowledge of main aircraft components and their functions
Knowledge of the principles, practices, methods, and tools used in lean manufacturing
Ability to work in a team environment, cross-functional team environment, as well as independently and with customers and channels
Ability to learn aircraft manufacturing basics (hydraulic, electric, mechanic)
Ability to learn Airbus Industries mechanical process & methods
Knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations and practice
Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Preferred

Fluency in German or French is a plus
Knowledge of Airbus tools EPIQA, AVL2 and SAP is a plus
