Business Development Manager – National Commercial & Institutional Real Estate
Wellstead Management serves as a trusted Owner’s Representative and strategic facilities and real estate partner. They are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to expand their national footprint by securing engagements in institutional and commercial real estate portfolios.

Responsibilities
Target organizations that own or manage large commercial and institutional portfolios and require an Owner’s Representative to oversee facilities, capital projects, and portfolio performance
Engage decision-makers including CEOs, COOs, CFOs, VPs of Operations, Heads of Real Estate, Asset Managers, and Directors of Facilities
Identify opportunities where Wellstead can act as the Owner’s Rep, providing independent oversight of facility operations, capital programs, vendors, and service providers
Build and manage a national pipeline of qualified opportunities
Lead outreach via LinkedIn, email, phone, virtual meetings, and in-person engagements
Collaborate with internal leadership to develop proposals, scopes, and value-based solutions
Support RFPs and RFQs related to owner’s representation, facilities management advisory, and portfolio oversight
Represent Wellstead at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events
Monitor market trends related to outsourced owner’s representation, facilities leadership, and portfolio management
Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular reporting on pipeline activity and market feedback
Qualification
Required
5+ years of business development, strategic sales, or client development experience within commercial real estate, facilities management, asset management, or institutional operations
Proven ability to sell professional services to executive-level stakeholders
Strong understanding of facility operations, capital planning, and multi-site portfolio management
Comfortable positioning an organization as the Owner's Representative rather than a trade contractor or commodity service
Self-motivated, organized, and effective in a remote, national role
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
