20+ years expBeta Investment Group is seeking a Vice President of Investments who plays a core role in the investment team. This position is responsible for identifying, analyzing, executing, and managing investment opportunities, ensuring alignment with the company's long-term investment strategy.

Responsibilities
Participate in the formulation and execution of the company's overall investment strategy and asset allocation plan
Identify and screen high-potential investment opportunities (equity, debt, M&A, special assets, etc.)
Continuously monitor industry trends, macroeconomic environment, and market changes
Lead or deeply participate in financial modeling, valuation analysis, and return forecasting
Organize and coordinate legal, financial, compliance, and business due diligence
Assess investment risks, return structures, and exit strategies
Participate in transaction negotiations, term design, and investment agreement formulation
Work closely with legal and financial advisors and external partners
Ensure the transaction structure complies with investment objectives and regulatory requirements
Responsible for the continuous tracking and performance evaluation of portfolio companies
Work with portfolio company management to drive strategic, financial, and operational improvements
Support M&A integration, refinancing, and exit planning
Monitor portfolio risk exposure and performance
Establish and maintain a post-investment reporting system and key performance indicators
Report investment progress, risks, and opportunities to management in a timely manner
Collaborate with investment research, legal, compliance, and finance teams
Assist in reporting to the investment committee, board of directors, and investors
Maintain relationships with founders, management, investors, and partners
Qualification
Required
20 1+ years of experience in investment, finance, or related fields
Strong background in private equity, venture capital, asset management, or investment banking
Excellent financial modeling, valuation, and analysis skills
Familiar with investment processes, due diligence, and transaction execution
Good business judgment and risk awareness
Preferred
A track record of successfully leading or deeply involved in investment projects
Experience in M&A, restructuring, or complex transactions
Cross-industry or international investment experience
Professional qualifications such as CFA, CPA, or MBA
