Design
Responsibilities
Work as part of a rapidly growing team to support project-based engineering and product development initiatives
Track company expenses (orders, invoices, shipments, contractors) against project budgets and cost categories
Manage account-based finances and flag potential overruns, unbilled work, or customer specific issues to leadership
Track freight and shipping status, invoices, and documentation for domestic and international logistics
Maintain financial and operational records
Provide support to accounting department for financial accounting, reporting, and other activities as needed
Generate and manage quotes with inputs from team
Qualification
Required
3 – 5 years of experience in a finance, operations, or administrative role
Exposure to cost accounting practices in a project-based environment (engineering, construction, legal, consulting, or similar)
Proficiency with spreadsheet, project management, and time management tools
Experience working with BOM or inventory-based goods/services
Experience in manufacturing and/or freight logistics (international and domestic) is desirable
Ability to manage role autonomously in a small, fast-moving team
Detail oriented with high personal standards for documentation, accuracy, and follow-through
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and service-oriented approach
Preferred
