Responsibilities
Designs, develops, and maintains distributed software systems using modern technologies
Collaborates with stakeholders to determine user requirements and contributes to product definition and scoping
Codes high-quality software, performs unit testing, and integrates components into larger systems
Diagnoses and resolves technical issues, ensuring maintainable and scalable solutions
Breaks down work items into tasks, estimates development effort, and improves development processes
Acts as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) to monitor system features for degradation or downtime and restores functionality as needed
Contributes to the design and architecture of new services, leveraging AI tools and cloud technologies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
Preferred
Experience developing and maintaining high-performance, highly available, and reliable services
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), scalable web services, REST APIs, and modern UX technologies (Angular, React)
Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools and technologies to enhance engineering effectiveness, with a commitment to continuous learning in Artificial Intelligence
