They are seeking a PMRC Forestry Technician II to assist with field work and data collection related to pine and hardwood trees, including measuring tree characteristics and applying fertilizers across the southern region.

Collect accurate data (measurements) on pine research plots across the 10 state southern region. Install pine research plots in new locations

Apply fertilizer to pine research studies across the 10 state southern region

Maintain forestry equipment and vehicles

Qualification

Required

High school diploma

Understanding of forestry measurements and tools

Willingness to work in extreme temperatures

Ability to lift fifty-pound bags of fertilizer repeatedly
