Responsibilities
The Office Coordinator contributes to high quality, patient-centered care by performing non clinical supportive therapy functions, under the direction of therapy leadership
The Coordinator independently manages all front/back office functions including greeting patients, phones/messaging, scheduling, registration, billing functions, insurance verification/authorization, maintaining accurate records, inventory of departmental supplies, and other departmental functions under the direct supervision of therapists and therapy leadership
The Therapy Office Coordinator may also assist in the setup, cleaning, and maintenance of therapeutic equipment and accepts other responsibilities as needed, including patient transport, departmental data management and other clerical duties or assigned tasks
Qualification
Required
High School Graduate / GED
Preferred
Previous medical/hospital office/secretarial experience
Previous experience in a clinic, managing scheduling, and dealing with insurance
