Cisco is seeking a Director, Product Market Success for the Americas (AMER) to drive the growth of their security products across the region. Responsibilities
Drive the growth of Cisco’s security products across North America, South America, Canada, the US, and the Public Sector
Develop and execute growth strategies
Work closely with sales teams to achieve pipeline and bookings goals
Lead a globally distributed team
Launch Account-Based Marketing (ABM) initiatives with targeted Enterprise Marketing, 1-to-Few, and 1-to-1 approaches
Drive the growth and adoption of Cisco’s security product portfolio
Deliver regional market growth, foster team collaboration, and implement Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies
Shape the business by developing and executing comprehensive growth plans
Ensure alignment between product messaging and sales targets
Launch innovative, personalized marketing campaigns that generate measurable results
Lead and mentor a globally distributed team of six direct reports
Cultivate an environment of accountability and continuous improvement
Drive market penetration, increase product adoption, and achieve revenue goals through region-specific strategies and clear performance metrics
Customize and execute regional marketing initiatives
Partner with both internal stakeholders and external agencies to create targeted campaigns and refine tactics based on data-driven insights
Work closely with cross-functional teams in sales, marketing, product, and customer success to ensure regional efforts are aligned and effectively communicated
Provide valuable market insights and performance updates to executive leadership
Represent Cisco at major events and industry conferences
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred) or equivalent combination of skills and experience
15+ years of experience in product, regional, or partner marketing, including ABM experience
3+ years in a regional leadership role with sales interface responsibilities
Preferred
Experience in cybersecurity and familiarity with regional market dynamics
Strong skills in analytics, CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), and marketing automation platforms
Proven success driving product growth, pipeline generation, and bookings in sophisticated markets
Outstanding teamwork and communication skills to effectively interface with sales leadership and cross-functional teams
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting market conditions
Ability to travel to major events, conferences and internal meetings as required
