Responsibilities
Investigate existing facilities to figure out what is going on, designing repairs, and then helping to oversee the construction
Perform structural investigations and condition assessments of existing buildings
Participate in evaluations of building envelope systems (facades, cladding, roofing, waterproofing interfaces)
Conduct site visits, field observations, and documentation of structural and envelope-related conditions
Analyze existing structural systems for distress, deterioration, and code compliance
Prepare clear, concise engineering reports and construction documents
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering
Comfortable with a mix of fieldwork and office-based analysis
Preferred
PE license preferred, or actively working toward licensure
