Responsibilities

Prepare, validate, and submit monthly credit bureau files in compliance with FCRA and Metro 2 standards

Monitor and resolve discrepancies in credit reporting data

Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines

Develop and maintain PL/SQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, and validation

Perform root cause analysis on data anomalies and implement corrective actions

Optimize database queries for performance and accuracy

Reconcile credit reporting data with general ledger and accounting records

Ensure accurate financial representation of credit accounts

Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes related to credit reporting

Identify gaps in reporting processes and recommend automation or enhancements

Document procedures and maintain compliance audit trails

Required

Credit Bureau Analyst experience with strong PL/SQL skills

2–5 years of experience in credit bureau reporting or financial data analysis

Strong proficiency in PL/SQL and relational database management (Oracle preferred)

Solid understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation processes

Familiarity with Metro 2 format and credit reporting regulations (FCRA)

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

BACHELOR OF COMPUTER SCIENCE

Preferred

Experience in banking or financial services industry

Knowledge of ETL tools and data warehousing concepts

Exposure to regulatory audits and compliance reporting
