Responsibilities

Work with Growth pillar leaders to build a discovery and experimentation roadmap, ensuring we make data driven decisions across acquisition, onboarding, conversion, retention and new market expansion
Set best practices for how growth teams use data, from metric trees and success metrics to experiment design and decision making
Support and challenge teams during OKR planning, ensuring initiatives are tied to clear metrics, realistic targets and well understood trade offs
Provide visibility to senior leadership on how Growth is performing, what is driving changes in key metrics and where the biggest opportunities are
Line manage 4 to 5 Product Analysts, supporting their performance, development and career progression
Oversee the workload and strategy of analysts in the Product Growth squads, ensuring the team is motivated, focused on the highest impact work and delivering against pillar priorities
Coach analysts on stakeholder management, storytelling, experimentation and commercial thinking
Raise the bar for analytics craft in the team through feedback, pairing and sharing best practices
Proactively deliver high impact analysis that directs pillar wide product roadmapping and investment decisions
Deep dive into key growth metrics to understand trends, root causes and differences across channels, segments and markets
Oversee the experimentation program for the Product Growth squads and ensure best practices are followed so tests are robust, interpretable and aligned to strategy
Continually surface important insights through pillar level dashboards, metric reviews and alerting
Define how the Product Growth squads quantifies success, building metric trees that connect input and output metrics, and shaping how we set and track targets during our OKR cycles
Work with Analytics Engineering to prioritise data modelling needs in your area and ensure the right datasets and definitions exist for growth use cases
Contribute directly to our transformed data codebase when needed and champion high quality tracking and data hygiene
Build and oversee self serve dashboards and tools that enable squads and leaders to understand and act on their metrics without always relying on the analytics team

Required

7+ years of experience in a data or analytics field
Improved user and business outcomes through data driven insights and experimentation, connecting those improvements to commercial results
Meaningful experience in growth analytics, such as onboarding or activation, conversion funnels, or retention for B2C or subscription products
Experience leading a high performing team of at least 2 to 3 analysts
Set a high bar in technical skills and in using insight to influence strategy
Comfortable managing both senior and mid level analysts
Skilled at influencing decisions through clear, structured data storytelling
Help teams build frameworks for what really matters for product success
Ensure insights land at the right time to shape decisions
Experience designing and interpreting large scale A/B experiments that impact user experience and commercial outcomes
Solid understanding of statistics as applied to analytics, including experimentation concepts and common pitfalls
Comfortable guiding others in statistics
Help teams pick the right success metrics, decompose them into growth levers and size opportunities
Work closely with senior stakeholders to create rapid feedback cycles between analysis, decision and outcome
Worked end to end across the data pipeline and understand best practices in defining tracking, shaping data models (dbt) and building self serve dashboards
Comfortable working with SQL and modern analytics tools
Know when to invest in data foundations to unlock future speed
Track record of raising standards in analytics teams through better processes, tooling or ways of working
Understand how analytics fits into cross functional squads
Experienced at partnering with Product, Engineering and other functions to deliver results
