Director of Lending

LOC Credit Union, a full-service financial institution, is looking for a Director of Lending at our Farmington office. The ideal candidate will oversee the Lending team, manage loan operations, and drive member engagement and loan volume while ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Managing the Credit Union's consumer, real estate, and business loan operations in support of the Credit Union's goals and strategic direction
Driving a higher level of member engagement and loan volume
Monitoring all areas of lending and ensuring that policies, procedures and compliance and training requirements are followed
Integrating data and analytics to drive solid decision making and recommendations
Coaching, developing and supervising department staff
Ensuring proper education, leading to efficiency and automation in the areas of underwriting
Some travel is required for this position, mostly within the field of membership

Required

Bachelor's degree
Seven or more years of increasingly responsible experience in a lending position within a financial institution
Five or more years of leadership experience
In addition to consumer lending experience, strong knowledge of business and real estate lending is required
