Chief Financial Officer / Director of Finance
Warehaus is seeking a Chief Financial Officer / Director of Finance to lead the firm’s financial strategy, operations, and reporting. This role partners closely with the CEO and leadership team to ensure strong financial performance and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
Executes and oversees Warehaus’ financial strategy in alignment with firm-wide goals
Leads all phases of corporate accounting, including general ledger, project-based accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash and capital management, and corporate taxes
Manages monthly and annual financial close processes
Prepares and presents financial reports, backlog analysis, and revenue projections for leadership
Provides fiscal modeling, forecasting, and strategic financial guidance to the Leadership Team
Leads the annual corporate budgeting process and ongoing financial planning
Manages cash flow and capital planning to support operational and strategic needs
Identifies growth opportunities, investment strategies, and potential mergers and acquisitions
Oversees accounting procedures, internal controls, and financial compliance
Manages payroll processes, including payroll tax preparation and filings
Oversees external vendors and subcontractors related to payroll and ERP systems
Partners with Group Leaders and Project Managers to monitor project financial performance and contractual compliance
Provides project cost reporting, analysis, and guidance to support informed decision-making
Drives invoicing and collections activities to support healthy cash flow
Supports teams in understanding project financial metrics and performance trends
Oversees administration of employee benefits programs, including insurance, 401(k), FSA, EAP, and workers’ compensation
Manages corporate insurance, leases, licensure, and risk-related activities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required
10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably within professional services, A/E, or project-based environments
Strong knowledge of project accounting, financial forecasting, and ERP systems
Proven experience partnering with executive leadership and operational teams
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and manage accounting and finance functions
Excellent analytical, communication, and strategic planning skills
