Student Assistant - Richards College Management Department, Graduate Level

Responsibilities
Assist in providing live-stream support for courses cross-listed in Carrollton and Newnan. Tasks include classroom set up the Carrollton to allow video and sound to transmit/receive (camera, microphone, and classroom projector set up, and video feed login). During class session, monitor and address any technical issues
Provide tutoring and academic support for undergraduate students (primarily CISM 2201 which often has enrollment of 200+ students per instructor and is Excel-intensive)
Help prepare instructional materials (e.g., slides, handouts, case studies), primarily when course preparation involves research to ensure the curriculum remains up to date
Grade quizzes, assignments, and exams under faculty guidance
Assist in proctoring exams
Learn and assist with the CourseDen platform
Assist faculty with academic research, including literature reviews, data collection and analysis, and preparation of manuscripts or presentations
Conduct independent research tasks under faculty supervision as needed
Support departmental events, workshops, and guest lectures
Assist with communication tasks (email correspondence, scheduling, announcements)
Maintain records, files, and documentation related to faculty or departmental projects
Perform clerical duties such as copying, scanning, or organizing course materials
Qualification
Required
Enrollment and good standing in a graduate program within the Richards College of Business
Possess strong computer skills (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively
Professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive information
Meet the requirements to be eligible for employment in the US
Preferred
Prior research or teaching experience
Familiarity with data analysis software
Interest in pursuing an academic or professional career in business
