Responsibilities
Serve as the sole on-site HR Business Partner supporting an office of ~50 financial professionals in Houston, acting as the primary HR contact for all people-related matters
Provide full-cycle HR generalist support, including employee relations, performance management, onboarding/offboarding, policy guidance, compliance, and day-to-day HR operations
Partner closely with local leadership while maintaining a dotted-line relationship to the Global Head of HR, ensuring alignment with firmwide HR strategy, policies, and culture
Operate with a high degree of autonomy and accountability required to function independently in a standalone HR role
Proactively identify and address people issues, acting as a trusted advisor to managers and employees in a fast-paced financial services environment
Support the implementation of HR programs and initiatives at the local level, adapting global processes to meet site-specific needs
Qualification
Required
Minimum 4 years of experience in HR operations, HR analytics, or a related role within a fast-paced professional services environment
Prior recruiting experience required (either in-house within Talent Acquisition or Generalist HR, or through an agency)
Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law, HR compliance standards, and documentation best practices
