Autronica Fire and Security AS is a leading innovator in fire and gas safety worldwide. They are seeking a Service and Commissioning Engineer to join their Global Services team in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, responsible for servicing, repairing, and commissioning fire and safety systems mainly onboard cruise ships.

Responsibilities

Service and repair work onboard ships (mainly cruise ships)

Commissioning work at shipyards in Europe (newbuilds, cruise ships)

Technical services, customer support and remote assistance from the office

Travelling in the USA, but also globally when it is required

Experience with Electronics/Automation systems

Ability to maintain a valid International Passport and travel up to 70% of the time in the US and Caribbean, but also Global

Must be physically fit to perform duties that involve climbing numerous stairs, using a ladder to embark/disembark ships, and work efficiently in narrow spaces

Capable of climbing ladders or using other lift equipment over 8 feet above grade and capable of lifting items up to 50lbs
