Responsibilities

Design, implementation, day to day operations and optimization of the Courts Network Infrastructure (NI) both at the Court and various geographically diverse remote sites

Perform technical analysis and administration of the Network Infrastructure (NI) to include the following: security patching, periodic maintenance, 'break-fix' actions, troubleshooting, configuring, testing, installing cabling as needed, fault isolation, preventative maintenance, install hardware/software/firmware upgrades, problem solving, equipment inventory, and all other aspects of technical support

Quickly react to and resolve problems that may impact the critical functions of the Court

Required

Minimum of five years Network Infrastructure (NI) experience in the following categories: Performing analysis and fault isolation functions, with hands-on working-level knowledge of Wireless Networks, Routers and Switches, Hardware Load Balancers, Firewalls, VPN and Security Appliances

Candidate must be able to demonstrate recent experience performing hardware set-up and installation as well as documenting installation and configuration changes on wireless network infrastructure

Expert level working knowledge of Wireless Networks, TCP/IP, Ethernet, Vlans, Routing Protocols (OSPF/BGP), Network Security, and IP Traffic Capturing Software required

Prepare detailed project plans, evaluate and implement technology enhancements, and diagnose technical faults in a complex Network Infrastructure (NI)

Strong interpersonal communication skills, ability to communicate and understand technical information, comprehend technical instructions, evaluate problems, and assist users; ability to remain calm and professional in high stress environment when confronted with challenging situations, short timeframes, or other pressing and urgent requests

College degree in the field of engineering

Preferred

College degree in the field of engineering, computer science, or a related field preferred; however education can be substituted for years of experience or technical training provided by previous employer

Highly Desirable Certifications: Professional Level Firewall certification, CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional), F5 CTS-301 (F5-Certified Technical Specialist focus in BIG-IP LTM)
