A power system engineer uses various protocols for grid communication (like DNP3, IEC 61850 for SCADA/Substations), analysis (load flow, fault studies), and operations (coordination of relays), focusing on ensuring grid stability, reliability, and safety by managing generation, transmission, and distribution, adhering to standards (IEEE/ANSI) and modeling system behavior for planning, protection, and control

Proficient in Electric Transmission or Distribution EMS / SCADA / Implementation

Should know System Analysis Protocols (Modeling & Study)
Should know Operational/Protection Protocols (Rules of Operation)

Preferred

Preferable hands-on experience of implementing GE EMS/SCADA or any equivalent SCADA from Siemens, OSI, ABB, Schneider etc
