District Manager EAST

The N.C. Department of Information Technology is seeking a District Manager EAST for the Adult Correction division, responsible for overseeing ACDP prison-based substance use disorder programs. This role includes managing program staff, ensuring quality assurance, and directing the design and implementation of clinical programs for probation/parole offenders.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the overall operation of ACDP prison-based substance use disorder programs and services within the defined district
Directs the work of ACDP in the design, implementation and quality assurance of the substance use disorder clinical program at DART Center
Directly manages Substance Abuse Program Managers/Coordinators and others as assigned
Assigned to an ACDP Office within the district and extensive weekly/monthly travel is required to district programs and DART Center

Required

Master's degree in a discipline specific to the program from an appropriately accredited institution and four years of experience in the area of assignment, including two years in a supervisory or consultative capacity
Bachelor's degree in a discipline specific to the program from an appropriately accredited institution and six years of experience in the area of assignment, including two years in a supervisory or consultative capacity
An equivalent combination of education and experience
Executive management experience includes departmental clinical policy and procedure development, fiscal management, responsibility for merit-based hiring decisions and the application of NCDAC disciplinary policy
Extensive experience designing rehabilitative programs operating within a correctional or community treatment environment
Demonstrated ability to produce professional documents and make oral presentations
Experience in establishing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, to include facility and regional management within the Division of Institutions
LCAS (Fully Credentialed)
5+ years' Experience in upper-level management
